S20C/1020/C20 Carbon Structural Steel

Cold extrusion, carburizing and hardening steel. The steel belongs to low carbon steel with low strength, good toughness, plasticity and weldability.

Application

For the manufacture of various mechanical parts that do not withstand great stress and require high toughness.
In general machinery, automotive and agricultural machinery, it's used for manufacturing carburizing and carbonitriding parts which requires higher surface hardness and lower core hardness.
