1.2312/P20+S/618S/40CrMnMoS8-6 Plastic Mold Steel

It has very good machinability, good toughness and wear resistance, uniform hardness, good dimensional stability, and pre-harden condition. Also, it does not require heat treatment and can be processed directly, suitable for nitriding to increase wear resistance. But not for chrome.

Application

1.2312/P20+S plastic mold steel is suitable for making injection mold without special surface requirements and low mechanical stresses, medium and large size plastic mold, and light alloy mold with a low melting point. It is also suitable for making mold bases or mold parts of casting mold and injection mold.
