High Speed Steel 1.3343, SKH51, M2 

M2 Steel is molybdenum high speed steel. Small carbide inhomogeneity and high toughness are its advantages. It is easy to overheating, so the temperature of quenching need to strictly control along with the protection of heat treatment.

 

Due to good hardness and wear-resistance, it is usually used in cutter for cuting the difficult cutting material, also suitable for mould vibration and shock loads mould.
